There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing a plan really starting to take shape.
This week, the BBC/Stanhope Smart Value Relationship saw another brick in the wall put in place with the announcement that a new Soho House members’ club and boutique hotel, complete with roof terrace and swimming pool, will open as part of the redevelopment of the former BBC Television Centre in White City, West London.
The development is key to the realisation of our joint vision for Television Centre to become a vibrant heart to the wider White City area with active public spaces and uses, whilst continuing to safeguard the regeneration and legacy of the building.
I believe we are now in really good shape to move forward to another new chapter in the history of this iconic building.
